How To Program

Posted on 8:11 PM by Unknown

There are millions of people who ask the question posted in this article, and there is no way to answer that question. However I can help you learn programming because there is a website where your or even your children can learn to program in a very easy to learn fashion. The best part is you don't realize that you are learning programming until you go out on your own and you are like hey I remember this and then you create a website. So today I will be giving you a website that make learning programming so easy and the community is even better.

Where Do I Learn How To Program?

Programming is something every kid should learn how to do which is why I am going through and I am using code.org to learn how. They offer a wide variety of programming languages, and they allow the experienced community to make their own tutorials as well. Think of code.org a website where you go to learn with experienced people and you can ask questions and the community will answer. The main reason people quit learning how to program is because they don't understand what it is they are learning, and they don't have anyone who can answer their questions. This is what code.org is looking to change, and it looks like they are succeeding.

Why Should I learn How To Program?

That is a very easy question to answer everything that is on your computer screen your phone even your calculator is a computer, and it was coded by a programmer. Not to mention that if you know how to program it helps you get a job and it can help you get into college. The main problem that the technological society is facing is there are not enough experienced programmers and engineers to go around. Which is why our technological growth rate is slowing down there are not enough graduates that go into the field of technology.

Where Should I Begin?

Well that is all personal preference I am going to go through at get 100% of all of the websites hosted coding tutorials and then go and do what other people have created. But if you are starting off there are easier languages. If you are looking into web design you should do HTML then do Java. These are the two main ones, but HTML is far easier to learn compared to Java. Then if you are looking to create a program then learn Python this is regarded as the easiest programming language. Then I recommend that you look for a C# tutorial because it is far easier to learn compared to C++.

Conclusion

We all need to have some sort of experience with coding under our belts if we are going to enter the workforce you can just go to MED school and be set for life. There are more jobs out there you just go to know where to look for them. So use this website and click on the learn tab also please get the word out about their website and sign their petition that every school should teach students how to code.

Top 5 Antivirus Apps For Iphone

Posted on 5:00 PM by Unknown
Many people are wondering what antivirus should I use for my IOS device. Well it is hard to say exactly but I will give you my top 5 based on test results and their product features. Note that these are going to be for IOS there is no certainty that these apps will be on your Android device stay tuned for that post where I can give you my first hand pick on my top 5. Now you will notice that this list is short, and there are not a lot of products to choose from the reason for that is Apple has rejected some major companies from making a mobile antivirus.

1. Avast! Secure Line VPN    Paid Only

iPhone Screenshot 1
Avast which is an award winning antivirus offers its security to the IOS unfortuatley like most iPhone apps it comes with a price. So this is not a free antivirus which is strange since it is free for Android. I am questioning their motives behind this, but it is probably because people who use Android are typically in a business environment unlike that of the iPhone which is mostly used by teens and children. So if you are willing to pay for an award winning antivirus this is your best bet.

2. Norton Identity Safe (Protective Browser Not A Full Suite)

iPhone Screenshot 1

This is a security app for your iPhone that gives you safe browsing of websites that have been scanned by Norton. So you could argue this is your website protection, but it will not protect you from your apps. There is also the fact that you can safely store all of your apps in the Norton cloud.

3. Lookout Antivirus (Free, Antivirus)

iPhone Screenshot 1
This security app has been growing in popularity over the years and is definitely your best bet for an antivirus that is free for your IOS device. There are many reasons for this and the main reason is Apple says no you may not create that app. Now this app includes a tracker that will allow you to track down your phone if it is ever lost or is stolen.

4. Trend Micro Mobile Security

iPhone Screenshot 1
Trend Micro is not a well known antivirus company, but their products have always done pretty well on tests and they have proven to be okay, but they also have a bad reputation. But their mobile app is definitely worth looking into because you will see what they have to offer. The best thing is it is one of the very few antivirus for the IOS devices they also have a lot of other apps that offer you more forms of security that you might want to look into.

5. McAfee WaveSecure

McAfee has been known to do moderately okay as far as tests go, but they are far from the best. They don't fail the antivirus tests, but they don't do anything amazing which is why it earns its self a spot on this list. This is a full fledged antivirus for your IOS device, but it will cost you money which many people are not willing to do. But if you trust McAfee over Avast then buy this product, but if you are going to pay then use option number 1. The app barley made the list but I gave it as an option but I don't personally recommend the product because McAfee its self is not great on tests.

What Is Malware?

Posted on 5:30 PM by Unknown

Above is a video that I recommend watching before you go and read the entire post because this can do a summary of it and it will also give you the option to listen as well as read, so you can retain the information.
Read my full in depth post after the jump!

What Is Malware?

This is the very basic question that I am going to be answering. The answer is simple malware is short for Malicious Software. Many people will try to tell you that is a virus the answer is NO malware is the starting point viruses are a branch of malware. Don't get the 2 confused not to mention viruses are actually becoming less and less common and are being replaced by Trojans which I will explain in a later post. Trojans are already  the most common type of malware that you will encounter online. You will be thinking okay well then what is a virus? Hold on that will have to be a whole separate post it's self since these things are not black and white some forms of malware fit under the gray area.

What Is Malicious Software?

Malicious Software is the direct definition, but this is not a 100% true definition because for something to be classified as malware it does not have to be a program it can even an internet cookie of which some can be classified as malware. So you will be thinking that is great and all but how is something determined as malware. The answer to that is simple malware is basically any form of file/program/cookie anything that you can find that causes damage to your computer or data. You can look at it like this if you have downloaded a program from an unknown website and your computer start's slowing down or it downloads other programs without your consent that is malware. It is difficult to give a good analogy for it so if the above analogy does not make any sense disregard it.

How Do I Prevent Malware From Getting On My Computer? Free version

The most security you will ever get for free will have a set up like this.
Go here and download avast antivirus
Go here and download Comodo firewall
Optional Can conflict with bad updates.
Antispyware

These three programs if set up properly will give your computer the best security (according to testing and features) for free. Between these you have an award winning free antivirus a firewall that is known to be the best free one on the market and an antispyware that has had years of experience.

How Do I Prevent Malware From Getting On My Computer? Paid Version

Bitdefender Total Security 100% detection rate on av-test.org (this is not 100% safe these were the results of 2 tests)
Firewall: This is included in the total security suite.
