Android App Of The Day

This symbol looks familiar because it is the advanced system care icon. Now the app that we are reviewing is Advanced Mobile Care by Iobit. This is the one stop item for all of your android utilities. This comes loaded with features that you would expect from 5 or 6 other apps from some company you don't know anything about. So after this review you will want this app for all of your Android Devices.

Features:

Game Speeder: When you play a game such as temple run do you have some weird lag spikes and then you end up losing and start yelling. Oh you don't well I don't either "as he looks away" but to be serious here it does happen and this app is able to help reduce those lag spikes. This app basically kills no essential processes such as Facebook so that when the app is running there is more room for the system to utilize. So your system will less likely have those lag spikes and it works for any game.

Task Killer: I know some of you go to the google play store and see the free task killer with 50 million downloads and you are thinking it must be the best one well you are sadly mistaken. When it comes to task killing this app is more efficient and targets main processes only. Now to make that simple if you have clicked on an app and closed it or you used the home button and the apps are still running this app turns that off. When I used that task killer it would give me some apps i never used such as Slacker Radio.

App Manager: This allows you to move apps to your SD card to conserve on the internal memory. It also allows you to uninstall multiple apps in a succession meaning that you delete one the next delete comes up. So it will save you time in the end and it has a far cleaner interface.

Privacy Advisor: This feature scans all of your apps for privacy invading apps. It will give you the ones that have the most advertisements that have the most security errors as ad applications. When you use the app it will make a lot more sense than it does right now.

Batter Saver: This allows you to control certain features of your phone to conserve battery power. I only use this when I am running very low but I still need to receive text messages they let me choose what it is I want to block. 

Privacy Locker: This feature lets me password protect certain files. However it does not allow me to block applications which is something that they need to work on. Because most of my personal information is linked to some sort of application rather than a document.  

Cloud Backup: You will be prompted to create an Iobit account so that you can backup all of your contacts and call logs. So this is a very nice feature that they have and it is a very simple one. 

Final Verdict 9/10

This app is very well designed and it is filled with a lot of great features but there are some issues that they need to fix. The main issue is their antivirus is really outdated and it has not real features. All it is is a scanner and I have never needed to update this app which is concerning. The other issues that they should fix is the privacy locker needs the ability to lock applications. This is because you will have more important information on an application such as Paypal or even Skydrive. But otherwise good job Iobit this is a really impressive application and it is only getting better.
